Welcome to Oodsphere Thanks Giving
The Oodsphere was once a place used by humans to sell Ood into slavery, this is no more with Ood and the Friends of the Ood working side by side. There is a great banquet hall with a great feast of human food favorites from hams, yams, turkey and with all of the trimmings the staff has picked up on the American holiday as a day to give thanks.
There standing amongst it all is Ood Sigma with his hands held wide open. "I welcome all of you to give thanks to the Children of Time and most importantly The Doctor. I will welcome all of you later to come listen to a most important message about the future of the universe."
OOC: This is a two part plot, the feast will take part tonight and on to till tomorrow once everyone's home and plump for the American side of things. The message and the kick off for the next few plots will happen Friday night. There's no pose order so simply treat this like the Halloween Party thread. The message thread will have it's own separate thread so don't worry about things there. The plot is Fractured only so no open invites on sws please.

"Ham! Turkey! Chocolate cream pie! Fruit pie! Mashed potatoes with lots of gravy! Strawberries! Gimme!"

"This is quite the party. I'm sure we'll have a Dalek come and ruin it," He muses a bit as if he expects them to show up at this party. "You're going to get a belly ache Master."

The twins are tucked away inside of the nursery of the TARDIS that has been a wonderful joy to the new addition and help from Gwen, Alisa was able to join Jack at the feast. She hasn't helped herself yet to anything and she's wearing an outfit she picked out from the TARDIS wardrobe.

He's got a huge amount of food he's dragging around with him. He grins and offers a little.

He didn't plan on coming when he did. He didn't expect to come at all until Alisa and the twins got the release from the hospital. "Alisa's there.." He stares at the Ghost Master who's there with her. "We can leave him here to do clean up work."

He looks to see if Patrick is still around somewhere or he needs to find him. The Welshman is nervous about going to fill up his plate and to be served by an alien who may of wound up in one of the cells. The red midget with a bunch of spikes on him doesn't cross his memories so he goes to help himself to a few items.

"Quite the feast for everyone. Oh, don't think this is anything the Americans had in mind," The Doctor stares at something that's hot pink and resembles some shell pasta. Then there's items that look like they belong on a Fear Factor episode. "A feast of feast, it's a good idea to let those Torchwood folks know it's not so bad out there."

There's a smile on his face and he glances back over his shoulder for his friend that he brought with him. "Come on Ianto let's go say hello to everyone. Let's not mind there's two other mes here." He offers the Welshman a kind smile and he makes his way towards the food line.

It makes him nervous in a very strange way.
He considers himself lucky to have travelled and seen other places with Jack now. Because that means his eyes aren't in danger of falling out of their sockets quite yet. There's far too much to see here though.
"Unreal," he mutters, keeping /very/ close to his Jack.

There's still no way of explaining how she feels about her time here. "Hello." She says to one of the Adipose and she steps out of the way of a wandering Slitheen. Then there's the Graske servers with nibbles on a tray. "Why thank you." She takes some chicken on a stick or so it appears to munch on while she waits in line for something to eat.

There's a whoops and a stumble, she feels like the new girl in Torchwood again with eyes full of wonder and amazement at everything. She goes to stand in line behind a woman who appears to be made of wood.

hai guys, not dead here
But the food was normal, Jack and Ianto were there, and nothing was getting destroyed. It was nice.
Re: Far from it. :)
He stares at the 'somewhat' familiar foods and he got a quick lesson that it isn't. "Nice seeing you here." He's not sure how to explain it all to the one who loved to stalk them.
figured you should know :P

The Master tried to be good, he really did, but it's just not a party for him if he can't torture someone.

She wrapped her jacket about her a bit more tightly, as she made her way toward the gathering. She wasn't interested in eating anything this time, but she'd lurk around until the actual message.

"No, they're not chips but you should give this," The Doctor points to something that could be mashed potatoes on his plate. "Seems everyone who came brought something from home."
A little green tomato critter comes crawling across his trainer, The Doctor looks at it for a bit. "Those are a delicacy if you're a Judoon."

The TARDIS, long known for presenting clothes whichever way she wanted, had presented Annika with nothing but green and white. After some debate, she chose a stylish white dress (http://media.victoriassecret.com/product/prodlgvw/V267524_EDIT_AY.jpg) and a pair of comfortable boots that facilitated running. The TARDIS herself seemed pleased, especially when Annika started moving through the crowd of people, nursing a cup of tea.

He looks up over his shoulder with a smile on his face. "Hello." It's a new face that he's never seen before. He distracts himself from the various party guests to talk to this new face. He stares at the cup of tea, it smells like tea and it may very well be tea. "Nice to see you found a cup of tea. They're just about to cut the cake and serve desert."
Another one of the drab olive Daleks passes with a plate that's got a slice of cake where the sucker arm would be. This gets a look from The Doctor. "Don't let the party guests intimidate you, it seems to be a peaceful gathering so far."

But it was the Ood Sphere! Full of people!
...And Daleks. Why were there Daleks?
no subject
The sight of the Daleks put both on edge, Jack's wearing a suit of his own and he bumps into the Doctor or so he thinks it is. He turns around to glance at John. "What do you think about this?" He asks while pulling the door of his TARDIS shut.
"I don't exactly like it and it has a very strange smell to it."
no subject
He dodges a Dalek who offers him tea. "Bloody sod off." He simply sneers at it. He hates the things and he goes to find Jack or someone with a safe face to buddy up to.
Two Iantos? He couldn't be any worse off for wear. Harper grabs one of the floating plates and he stares at the table with food that looks like he stuffed it in the HUB fridge only to be forgotten for a year. He's traveled for a few months with Jack's Doctor and the immortal, he should have this down right. No. "I just want a fucking basket of chips and a beer please." He mutters to himself and he goes to pick at could be something familiar to normal food.
no subject
"Did you see that?" he asks Owen.

It had to be something so powerful and so terrifying that even the Daleks have managed to keep some semblance of peace. He glances at the hands and he holds up his hand. "Blimey, anyway we've got a bit of a truce in this room because of a big scary something that could come if more walls of the universes collapse."
This has even The Doctor baffled as to what it is and why his hand would have anything to do with it. "Jack? Well that Jack there." He nods to the one at his table. "He's agreeing to let us use his HUB to help track the collapsing walls of the universe." He speaks in a firm enough voice and a quiet voice to keep it from traveling to the other occupants of the room.
He knows that some have more than enough of a grudge to want to kill their greatest enemy if given a chance. "As what to do? I don't know really, really I don't other then to pay attention to our hands." He goes to pick up one of the jars up to study it much more closely. He stares at Master a bit. "I really hope you don't mistake yours for a pickle. Anyway, we're going to have our hands full of course with this lot. I'll be grounding the TARDIS to Earth to make sure that --."
Then it hits him at what's coming up soon, what specific holiday that always spells trouble. "Christmas won't be like every other Christmas we've had."
