Welcome to Oodsphere Thanks Giving

The Oodsphere was once a place used by humans to sell Ood into slavery, this is no more with Ood and the Friends of the Ood working side by side. There is a great banquet hall with a great feast of human food favorites from hams, yams, turkey and with all of the trimmings the staff has picked up on the American holiday as a day to give thanks.

There standing amongst it all is Ood Sigma with his hands held wide open. "I welcome all of you to give thanks to the Children of Time and most importantly The Doctor. I will welcome all of you later to come listen to a most important message about the future of the universe."

OOC: This is a two part plot, the feast will take part tonight and on to till tomorrow once everyone's home and plump for the American side of things. The message and the kick off for the next few plots will happen Friday night. There's no pose order so simply treat this like the Halloween Party thread. The message thread will have it's own separate thread so don't worry about things there. The plot is Fractured only so no open invites on sws please.

"Happens, a big old party like this," The Doctor's trying to take in the guests. He sees some faces who aren't exactly friendly, a pair of Cybermen clomping past.

There's still that peace in the room. He suspects its not just a roast for him but something else. "This must be an important message." He then looks at Sarah for a bit. "Always been, well I'm a social meat eater."

There's something not right with Sarah and he watches another Dalek trundle past them. "You alright Sarah?" The Doctor asks half distracted.

Sarah eyes the Dalek nervously as it trundles past, she still doesn't trust them even though this is supposed to be a feast for all. "I hope it isn't anything bad," she comments, "I hate the idea of of Luke and the others handling something dangerous on their own."

She pops more of the seaweed in her mouth and chews. "I'm fine Doctor, just old age you know...things getting muddled now and then."

The Doctor doesn't trust the Dalek that offers them a slice of cake. "I'm sure it's nothing bad. It'll be a message of peace, blah, blah, blah and there will be plenty of chaos."

He would be very happy to feed Master one of these Daleks if he had the chance to do so. He'll consider letting the blond have his way after the Ood gives his message.

"With peace there is always chaos. The two can't exist together for long."

"Or is that just because you create the chaos and the peace in one breath," Sarah teases warmly glad the attention is off her for the moment.

The Doctor isn't going to miss anything, he watches as hosts bring large items with a white cloth over to the tables the 'Children of Time' are seated at. He watches the Ood place them down on the table and he glances over at Sarah.

"I suppose we should find ourselves a seat then," The Doctor can tell something is wrong with her. He can feel it in his body but he doesn't want to tell her this. "You can join me at my table."

She nods as she watches these new trays being brought out. She's tempted to scan them using her watch but she decides it wouldn't be fair. She grabs her plate and smiles.

"That sounds lovely Doctor, lead the way."

The Doctor leads her to the table where the two Jacks, Alisa and the rest of those from his proper universe are seated. He's glad for these big circular tables so he can see everyone.

Then there's the jars on the table. It's wrong. He can feel it in his hearts. The notice that only the table with those who would be considered 'The Children of Time' have one in front of their seat.

He digs into his pocket for his sonic screwdriver. "That's odd. It won't scan."

Sarah flips her watch open and frowns. "The watch you gave me doesn't work either," she said worried, "Doctor I don't like this."

"I don't either. I'm going to speak to the Captain about opening Torchwood up, we're going to need the help," The Doctor would like to continue the gallivanting fun they've had but this is going to change things.

Then the three Ood being to speak. He holds a hand up to silence the table so he can hear them in his head.

Sarah Jane listens sliently trusting that the Doctor will tell her what was said later.
