It's a Wild Wild Life

The Rift has been active once again and Jack has taken a small group with him to of all places Central Park. It was nice to have localized activity above the HUB it was easier to find but it made the immortal uneasy.

Jack turned around with his Webley in one hand. He listened to his cheerleader under the HUB giving him and the others directions. The energy signal is a strange one that is leading him closer towards the Central Park zoo. It's a bright sunny day with families and tourists flocking over to see the exhibits.

"Hey, is anyone feeling a little strange?" Jack turns his head around and with an influx of people in the area he reholsters the gun. "Please, let's try not to cause anyone to panic." He tells the people with him and with a motion of his hand he gives a silent order to put the guns away. He pushes himself through the turn-style and he begins to make his way through the mass of people who are enjoying the warm weather.

'Careful Jack, you're getting closer to it's location. It's located in a far corner of the zoo grounds.' Toshiko says, through the commlink to everyone on the surface.

"I promise someone that we can do some guns a wavin," Jack jokes, but the matter is far from one as his hand slides into the pocket of his greatcoat when he pushes through a group of onlookers near a group of flamingos.

[He stops with the poking and he digs into his pocket for the scanner he brought with him.]

Of course I know what will happen. Now I do have an energy signal to try to locate.

[He grabs hold of his sonic and he waves it about in the air. He gets a lock on it's location and he mmms.]

It's in that direction just north of us near the zebras.

[BBDoc sighs with relief. He thought Eleven was going to scan him.]

Weww, wot you waitin' fow? Off ya go!

[He'll follow of course.]

[The Doctor is off and he might have to bleep the wee Doctor another time.]


It's the birds.

[This normally would fall under the hands of Torchwood or UNIT but he's still the best at these things. He runs after the signal the sonic is leading him towards.]

[Running towards them from the other direction is another Doctor and he does not look happy.]

[He says to the little Time Lord his scowl making it clear wandering away might have been a very, very bad idea]

[BBDoc had started to follow Eleven, running to try to keep up, when he heard the sound of Nanny Nine, coming up behind him. He stops dead in his tracks. But feigns goodness.]

Here I iz... Jus' enjoyin' da bwiwwiant day!

[He grins in an attempt to disarm Nine.]

[He stops in his steps when he hears that voice. He ums a bit.]

Yes, I was just going to take this lost wee one to the visitor's center so he can find his parents. Oh, I'm not a creeper if that's what you're expecting.

Now let's please figure out exactly what's happening here with all of these birds. Yes, there's lots of birds in the sky but you've noticed that there's more than normal I'm sure.

[He holds his hands up when the wee tells them to stop fighting. He tries to defuse the other him.]

They are all flying away from some sort of barrier.

[Nine muses out loud keeping one eye on his little self]

[BBDoc pulls out his sonic at that and starts to scan the area. Once he gets a signal, he takes off running after it.]

[He feels a little put out but he runs after the little Doctor.]

Wait up!


[He looks at the sparrows and one other thing he noticed is the large number of raccoons in the area.]

Now just where is it? [He turns around to get his sonic to get a fix on the location but there's something strange clinging to his backside.]
