One Crammed TARDIS ; One Hell of a Road Trip

The Doctor has the TARDIS to go find the missing Ianto (Coffee). He's waiting outside for the others to come join him in this search. Standing there with the doors open, The Doctor is almost about to bounce out of his trainers.

"Okay! The Rules! Don't touch!" The Doctor simply explains to the gathering, of course he now has enough people to actually make the TARDIS stable during this trip. "Well no, I want touching. We got enough people again to fly the TARDIS without having that bumpy ride. We're going to need that to make things feel less bumpy!"

He pushes the doors to his TARDIS open to wait for everyone to step inside.

(OOC: Long running thing. Feel free to continue with new threads that would happen after this. We may or may not return with Ianto. Keep in mind of a post order, interact with another in the TARDIS and make up things to do. It's a TARDIS with lots of fun places to go. If you want to make up new threads just keep them to the comm. Well of course we want to share some of our wild TARDIS road trip pile up.:) )

"I hardly know what I think about flying in this thing without the bumpy ride. It'll certainly be an experience." Martha grins as she looks around at all the faces. Some familiar and some not. "Ready when you are." She states as she steps past the doors and on to the TARDIS. "Just tell me where you want me to go."

Well, of course she'd come along after promising to help find Ianto. She'd considered briefly traveling in her own TARDIS after his, two TARDISes could come in handy, but given that her TARDIS--despite cosmetic changes--was essentially the same one as his, it might end up only causing more complications.

She tossed the Doctor an amused smile as she passed him. "What, y'don't think we ought to all end up in a pile on th'nice glass floor?"

The Captain is looking very relaxed as he joins the group. "He could let those of us who know how to fly the TARDIS help," he says amused, "it's not like Rose or I plan on breaking anything."

Patrick steps inside the TARDIS slowly his eyes taking everything in and his hands itching to explore. But he promised he'd be good and he will. "Vacation," he asks catching the Doctor's last comment, "won't we be coming back right away after we find Ianto?"

Martha beamed as she curled an arm around the Doctor's waist. "Oh I don't know. It really wouldn't be a trip in the TARDIS without being tossed about in the process."

As quickly as he was there he's gone and she has to resist the urge to frown instead she moves around the console and takes a seat on the jumpseat. "But, what's to stop the device from just picking up any odd universes Ianto?" Martha asks lifting a curious eyebrow. "I mean. They're all technically him so it would stand to reason they have identical if not reasonably identical DNA right?"

Leaning back in the seat she glances around to find the source of the question. She tilts her head with a bit of a playful grin replies. "Oh..You'll find out that once you take one trip with the Doctor you magically find yourself taking another, and another, and another. Don't ya Rose? Jack? It's like once you see what's out there you don't want to go back." She frowns a bit. "Well when I say it like that it almost sounds like a bad thing. It's not. Err... You'll see."

"It's only more fun when you're the one on top, Doctor." She arched an amused eyebrow at the Doctor, before settling near one of the stations of the controls. It wasn't quite the same as the TARDIS design she was most familiar with, but it wasn't all that different from the new one she'd accustomed herself to, so she wasn't too worried about piloting it. Especially not with others helping.

Though she flashed Martha a knowing smile, she turned toward the Doctor at his last comment. "Oi, I know how you fly this thing, and I've got friends that'll be unhappy if I up and disappear for five years instead of five hours." She pointed across the console at him. "Let's just get Ianto back and work from there, yeah?"

Jack pops up from the stairs to go join the rest of the teams that are coming with him. He went to visit with Toshiko who's currently in her work shop and library where Alisa went to migrate to. "We're getting Ianto first, then we can have a bunch of wild adventures."

He smiles having just caught the Doctor on top comment. "You're right he'd be fun on the top of the pile." He goes to find a place at the console to help pilot her. He cracks a smile to everyone else. "You've got a date don't you Rose?"

[identity profile] terrorxtrahot.livejournal.com 2010-11-05 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"Of course she has a date," Patrick says with a laugh and a wink, "no one with hair looking that good has anywhere to go but a fancy nightclub or a coffee shop that is."

Feeling a bit out of his element, Patrick stands near one wall trying to figure out his place in this little group.

"She's not the only one with a date," the Captain replies moving to a open spot at the console. His relationship with John is still fresh and he doesn't want the metacrisis Doctor to worry about him too much.

"Oi! Am I the only one without a date?" She laughs. Mickey should be here to, but she still hasn't told him. Still busy with work he hasn't been home yet. "And no no none of that popping of for 5 years instead of 5 minutes!" She gets up and moves over to the console, and takes up the next open space.

Although she returned the queries with an appropriately flirtatious smile to the three Jacks, she didn't elaborate further. She wasn't about to mention David around a Doctor, even this one. She had before, and they all seemed to agree.

They were all wrong.

"I've got friends, I said. Mates that'll kill me for disappearin' for months without warning." Although she honestly did all the time. They'd gotten used to it.
