A Holiday Get Together

Ianto has the HUB decorated with a tree and things are a bit subdued with Donna being ill. It was agreed on to go ahead with the holiday celebrations in order to give Donna a chance to know about all of the people who care for her. He's standing at the tourist booth grant those they consider friends entrance into the HUB. The worry for his friend is kept hidden from sight but he would rather be with The Doctor in the medical suite.


OOC: This is the same as any other party thread we've had. Mingle with one another and enjoy. This ends when it no longer has anymore threads.

"Save his face?" She repeats the phrase slowly, as if that would help her to understand it better.

"Regenerate. He's got a fear of the next regeneration." Ianto rephrases himself and he smiles. "He's met several of them and they have a love of bow ties. He said something about a fez also."

Romana giggles, "I don't think it's the bow-ties that are the problem. He's had incarnations wear them before." She notices that Ianto hasn't touched his biscuit, "Go ahead, don't wait for me."

"It's not the bow-ties?" Ianto asks, he's now worried at what would have his Time Lord friend this scared of regenerating. Torchwood has kept track of each one but their knowledge on Time Lord regenerations is limited. "According to the archives this would be considered his tenth."

Ianto has forgotten about the biscuit that he was holding and he goes to take a bite. "Mmph. I'll be honest. I prefer the American 'cookie' to these."

Romana smiles, "You got a bit of a sweet tooth, eh?"

She thinks on what he has revealed, "Tenth... well can only do it twelve times. Perhaps that is part of it. Perhaps he has 'loose ends' I believe is the phrase you use?"
