I'm the House Keeper!
When: Master's Wardrobe Plot
Who: The Doctor
stetsons_r_cool/OTA
Where: The TARDIS - The Los Angeles HUB
What:
The Doctor wasn't going to call all of his hard work on that country manor a bust. There was a lot of activity in the HUB and The Doctor could see this. He's also unaware that his younger self had crossed his time stream and that will make for an interesting discovery when he returns to the TARDIS.
Still he wanders the halls of the HUB and he goes to head into the main offices. He goes to grab a chair and he flops himself down. "You lot work too hard! There's not a soul that's scratching at the doors to get out for a little adventure? I'm not talking about a slobbery reanimated dinosaur or a weevil. And, really heaven and hell? That's taking up too much time!" He leans forward to go through someone's paperwork and he ruffles through it. It's boring and he tosses it over his shoulder only to watch it go all over the place. "I've always wanted to do that."

"I've always wanted to do that."

Oh. Oh no, he didn't.
"I just finished getting that in order!" he practically squeaks at his alternate self.
no subject
"Well, there's no need to get that in order. I think everyone here needs time off. Well not exactly time off but everyone is just here. It's boring," The Doctor goes to dig through the desk and he finds a piece of alien technology. He stares at it for a moment. "Its a nose hair trimmer." He rolls his eyes and he tosses it back on the desk. "Well it's a nose hair trimmer for a Judoon."

Is he really this annoying? He consoles himself with the fact that the eleventh Doctor isn't actually him in the strictest sense as he gets out of his chair and starts shoving the papers back into one pile.
no subject
He tends to be this annoying when he wants to. The Time Lord places his hands behind his head. The Doctor looks at the papers that one of the Ianto's likely put there in some order. "I like them on the floor. I mean what if you want to sit on the floor and look over papers about Weevil attacks?"
no subject
"Why don't you go play with Märet or something?" he asks.
no subject
"I'll bring Maret along. I know he would enjoy a chance to explore new worlds." The Doctor says, and he takes another piece of fallen paper from the ground. "I was thinking Saint Andrews during the Second Great War. Scotland was fairly safe from German bombs and I know Jack's a big fan of the era. And, I won't chance him running into himself during his very early years."
no subject
He sighs. World War II for the holidays? Really? "You sure about that?"
no subject
He looks at the pictures he picked up. "Well there's children in here and they shouldn't be exposed to these things." He goes to put the pictures in a folder. "Well they shouldn't be exposed to these things just yet."
"Yes. We're not going to London or any occupied area. We should be safe."
no subject
"The children wouldn't be exposed to it if someone didn't go around throwing those things on the floor where everyone can see them," retorted Handy, rolling his eyes. "And you do realize we could go to any other time period and you wouldn't have to reassure me about how the Nazis probably aren't going to bomb us?"
no subject
There's a very good chance he'll be late in getting them back home. His sense of time has always been crap in that sense.
"Yes, yes, yes so I'm corrected." The Doctor seems almost hurt by his choice of periods in history to visit. "Oh, but to think of all the inspiration the English countryside during the Blitz was for many. I am going to make a big rest assure that the Nazis won't bomb us assurance, Andrew."
no subject
"We'd better find Narnia while we're there, or I'll be terribly disappointed," he says, keeping an entirely straight face.

"Are we going right this minute? I want to put a locator on Märet before we go, in case he wanders off." He pauses. "After I find Märet."
no subject
He stops and he turns around. "No. I'm going to get some supplies. I'm not sure rationing is something Maret understands." The Doctor rubs the back of his neck. "A locator? I suppose..." He mutters and he's not exactly happy with the idea.
no subject
He arches an eyebrow at the Doctor's discomfort. "Do you want to track him down without a locator if he gets lost in World War II Scotland?"
no subject
He turns around and he takes a deep breath. "Of course not, no. There's no telling what trouble he could get himself into."
no subject

He turns his attention back to the console room and he takes a deep breath. "Okay, you can have your moment of feeling a little bit younger." He speaks to the TARDIS and he wanders over towards the console. "As for Maret, we could be able to keep an eye on him by using The TARDIS."
no subject
"You think so?" he asks. "I'll go get him - and run home to grab clothes, all that boring stuff."

"I always love adventure," she purred. River moved over and sat herself on the edge of the desk, getting as close to the Doctor as possible without touching him directly. "They love their work. It's hard to get them to relax, sweetie."
re: 41 Jack should soo join us on this plot. :)
He cracks a smile. "Great! Well it's an adventurous vacation! 1941 just after the height of the Blitz but there's still that air of danger!" He stops making an ass out of himself and he gets up from the chair. "Yes, they love their work and it shouldn't be hard to get them to relax. It's even going to be safe for our pregnant couples to enjoy."
no subject
River shrugged her shoulders and hopped up off the desk. "Ooh, the Blitz. I love a good balloon ride," she teased. "They work very hard. Taking a break in our line of work isn't very easy, Doctor. Even mini holiday breaks usually wind up with us running for our lives." Not that she was complaining. "Would you protect me," she purred.
no subject
"Yes, Scotland should be fairly safe during this time of the year. I'll still have to pay London and Churchill a visit. He's still a little cross about the fact I dismantled those Spitfires." The Doctor has a surprise for The Captain's somewhere along those lines but he's not about to ruin it neither.
"Of course I would protect you!" The Doctor pops out from the chair and he goes to wander over towards the direction of the TARDIS. "Get your bags, and bring some supplies because rationing is not our thing."
no subject
"Scotland. I love Scotland. It's so magical. Especially with the snow. It will be beautiful. Will you wear a kilt," she teased. "Spitfires! I'd be cross with you too. Those planes are genius."
She chuckled and followed after him, like she always would. Like he'd always follow her. It was their way. "Anything I need is in the TARDIS." Truth be told, she liked following him more. He had a cute little butt she would always stare at. She couldn't help herself. "And a bit of wine. You always need a wine at a holiday dinner."
no subject
He listens to her when she tells him she loves the idea. "Yes. Scotland and its wonderful sheep. I'm sure the sheep won't mind the snow with all of that wool they're wearing." He steeples his fingers together and he scrunches his face. "I will not wear a kilt!" He takes River by the hand to lead her over to the TARDIS. "Yes, they're splendid. I also have something Jack's going to need to help me with there. A holiday isn't a holiday without a little alien intervention to shake things up."

He looks Jack up and down and he asks. "We haven't met have we?" The Doctor waggles his fingers and he goes to offer Jack a hand. "I'm The Doctor just in case we haven't formally met one another."
no subject
"No, I don't think we have. Jack would have mentioned you." He stuck his hand out and shook the Doctor's hand. "Captain Jack Harkness. The first." Yes, he might have smirked as he said it.
no subject
He knew exactly where he was taking them and he ums. "Course not, no there was no Germans there and nothing other than airbases that made the German's have any interest in bombing it. Don't worry, all will be safe."
The Doctor goes to take the hand and he gives it a vigorous shake. "You don't look like my Captain. I'm The Doctor."
