Time for some TARDIS repairs
When: Moving Day Plot
Who:
captain_flyboy/OTA
Where: The Captain's TARDIS but the doors are open for anyone to wander in
What: The Captain was glad he wasn't a snake anymore, he couldn't really understand how anyone could get along without thumbs, hands and yes even arms when it came down to it. He enjoyed working with all three when he needed to think. It had been fun being an animal again, it gave him a perspective of things he wouldn't have had before. He had to admit he had enjoyed the move too, it had been a long time since he'd traveled to one place with the intention of staying put.
So he was taking the time to make some adjustments to his girl while Glen Miller played softy in the background and he hummed along.

Alisa's question makes him and nod. "I wouldn't say gave, but I think he's invoked with whatever that sun is."

"If he cares as much as you all say he does, we owe it to him to try to help. I just wish I knew how."

She knew The Doctor always came around when there was something grave to happen to the Earth. Well most of the time he was there for them in their darkest hours except the events of the 456. She places her head in her hands and then she looks a bit down. "If he's out there doing something about this."

"We can't give up on him or ourselves, that won't do anyone any good."
no subject
"I don't think we're giving up, Jack. We just... We don't know what to do. You both have been in much worse situations than I. The whole space and time thing is new to me. I'm trying. The only thing I've ever done is fly in a war and turn into an eagle. And that was confusing." He sighed. "I want to help, but how?"
no subject
"No, we're not giving up, he'll come to us if he needs the help." Alisa looks at the original Jack and she then looks down at herself. "I won't be of much help right now. It will either get more confusing or less confusing as time goes on."

He squeezes each hand. "And Alisa's both right and wrong. She's right that the Doctor will come to us when he needs us, but she's wrong that she won't be much help. We can all help, but using our eyes, ears and other sense to gather information the Doctor might need."

"But what if we don't see the right thing? I am afraid I might miss something. That I won't know what I'm looking for," he said hesitantly. "What if I gather the wrong information and miss something vital. That's my only worry. I just want to help."

She knows exactly how these two feel in a smaller way. She wasn't taken out of her time to do something tribal some three thousand years in her past. When she's told she's got a place there it results in a frown. "How? I'm five months pregnant Jack. I'm going to be huge or bigger...I'll do research in the bathroom."

"You're right, Jack. So... Where do we start?"
