Ianto is starting to wonder if that's simply his own reason to exist, to take care of a man from the far future. He lowers his head, this isn't right if it's been so soon. "I'll make the coffee then." It's not his coffee machine in New York, that machine is unique and has a sense of survival against anyone who isn't Ianto.
He's got the coffee ready and he turns to just look at Jack. There's that sad look on his own eyes. He's crap at trying to comfort people, he really is. He looks himself over in Jack's shirt and pants. He managed to snag a pair of socks before making his way into the kitchen. Ianto just holds onto a pair of mugs, he's seen Jacks in all different ways and somehow he comes to try to help. The bitter feelings have been pushed down to his feet. "It's okay, you miss him. I don't mind you being hurt and in mourning still. I'd be worried if you got over him quickly."
This is a good sign, at least it has always proved Mairywn wrong that Jack got over him quick. "You never did get over my death. None of the ones I've met have." Ianto mutters, as he nods his head. He respects that wish to not tell Jack, it was all by his hand that some Iantos who said yes, did more damage than the one who said, no in the end.
"I still have Jublie's number memorized after all these years," Ianto laughs, he's eaten amazing pizza lately but still the pizza home was good. It was the pizza he shared with his Jack, with or without clothing.
He remains in the kitchen, he can tell Jack's still a bachelor and even with his married and expecting a family it never changed. "You're a bachelor until the end of time, I'm used to it and it's part of the requirements to date you."
