Trip in the TARDIS.

Rose, decided to lead the way back to her TARDIS, she lit up a cigarette, and proceeded to make her way down the street, "So where to? Thinking New York might be interesting, maybe do a bit of sigh seeing, go clubbing, stuff like that." She glanced over to where her humanoid projection of the TARDIS was. "Any ideas?" She asked then when the TARDIS shook her head, Rose kept walking until she arrived at the black and red TARDIS then getting it unlocked and opened it.
The raven haired woman stepped inside, she moved over to where the red glowing control panel was and began to press some buttons, with that done, she made sure that everyone that was supposed to be there was inside before heading to New York City.

"I've never been to New York," Adric said, despite not being the one asked. "It might be int--" he paused, seeing the TARDIS. "The TARDIS looks different now."

Rose smiled at him some. "Yeah... she's changed a bit but she still works the same. So any places you want to go in paticular?" She asked with a smile.

"I guess we could go to New York. Or Gallifrey." He could go either way. He, of course, wasn't aware that there was no longer a Gallifrey.

Rose looked at him oddly, "Gallifrey's gone." She said, as she sighed. "You went there before?" She was a bit curious now.

"Gone? It's a whole planet, how can it be--" then he remembered all the planets the Master had destroyed. "The Master wouldn't--but that's his own planet, so surely he wouldn't...unless it was something else that...what about all the Time Lords?"

Adric had known Romana, the Doctor and the Master, after all, and there was only one of those three that he'd be fine with hearing that they were dead.

Rose wasn't completely sure of the exact details she only knew some of what the Doctor had told her. "It was the Daleks, they destroyed all of the Time Lords, all except for the Doctor. He was the last of them. "

"Daleks? I've never heard of a Dalek, but...all of the Time Lords? Surely some must have been off planet! Surely they can't all be dead." Adric gave her a pleading look, practically begging her to say a few Time Lords were still alive, wandering the universe.

The TARDIS moved over to Adric, " I'm sorry, but... they didn't the Daleks killed them.. the Doctor was the only one who escaped." She sighed, if you want to know the details, I can take to the library. She glanced to Rose, "... she's not comfortable talking about the Doctor or the Daleks..." she then added.

"I can see why. I'm not exactly happy about this myself." He felt like he was going to cry. Romana was dead, and the Doctor may be as well. "Couldn't some be in a parallel universe?"

She looked at him feeling the saddness he felt, "I'm sorry, I really am but I don't think there were any survivers aside from the Doctor, and somehow the Master." She had met a the Master in another universe. She placed a sympathic hand on his shoulder, while she couldn't touch anything, she did so without literally touching him. "Come with me, ill get you a drink." She left the room and led him to the dining area of the TARDIS.

"All right." Adric followed her. "Of all the Time Lords to survive, I wish the Master hadn't been one of them. I'd have been more than happy to have Romana in his place."

She nodded, "I know, she was a great friend to all of us." The TARDIS, moved over to the bar, and pushed a button, before a tall shot of liquor materialized in front of Adric. Since she couldn't literally pour a drink for him she did what she could for the time being. "A lot has changed since you traveled with the Doctor and I... It's crazy to think back to those days and realize how different things are now." She sighs, while she cared for Rose, she also missed the Doctor a great deal, it was something both her and Rose never really got passed completely.

"I don't know why, but I hadn't expected so much to change. I mean, I figured he'd have regenerated, maybe got new companions, but not this much." Adric took a drink of the liquor, then made a face. He far preferred the fruity stuff Rose had gotten him before.

She nodded a bit. "yeah, well... he did.. he had many companions, including Rose. But then the Daleks returned, and that's when everything changed."
