Where: Some cute little church Owen found, just before Liz &
wanker4life wedding. (FINALLY!)
Liz never thought she'd be the kinda girl who got 'jitters' about something like a wedding. This was the exact reason Vegas on New Years Eve has the appeal it did but that this point she's just happy a wedding is happening at all. But here she was, pacing a little room at the church trying not to freak out.
Even more shocking was the fact Owen did pretty much all the work. He saw a church, he found a priest who was willing to marry a couple with zero credentials (Though Liz suspects there was 'borrowed' psychic paper and a bribe involved), and he even found a decent pub that would work for a real reception. Simply stated it was PERFECT. Liz was even able to find a dress that fit the era and wasn't made entirely of lace and frills.
So why was she so nervous...and nauseous?
"It's just nerves." Liz told herself as she looked in the mirror for the millionth time. "Don't freak out. Don't burn down a church in the past. That is NOT the kind of wedding photos you want."

"I would be a nervous wreck too. The Doctor is reassuring everyone that there will be no bombs today." Ianto goes to put the bouquet down on the table for Liz to pick-up when the wedding begins. "I found someone to play the pipe organ. I figured you would want to have that classic wedding still." Ianto was dressed in one of his classic suits, a white shirt and a red tie. "And, Jack made it."

Her jaw drops open when she sees the bouquet Ianto made. "Flowers!" Liz shouts as she reaches out for them, her expression more panicked than thankful at first. "We forgot..." She's overcome for a moment with the worries of what else they may have forgotten, but she takes a deep break so as not to light Ianto's work on fire.
"Thank you." Liz says as she looks them over, fiddling with the lace and beads. She smiles nervously at Ianto and nods. "He can't be sure that won't happen. There's a war on." Actually, Liz wouldn't put it past the Doctor to find some way to make sure that didn't happen even if history did change.
She winces and rubs her head in frustration at the mention of music. They forgot that, too. "Oh, God. I hope we didn't forget anything else." Liz frets as she plays the the bouquet more. "You're a lifesaver, Ianto. Really. I'd hug you but," she wrinkles her nose. "I feel like I'm gonna puke."
Liz nods. "He...promised. I'm holding him to it this time." she says, trying to sound firm but it just comes out panicky.

He hands the bouquet of flowers to Liz and he cracks a smile. "Yes, I didn't think you could walk down the isle without them." He hopes it isn't too girly for her and he goes to get Liz a glass of water.
"No. You didn't forget anything else. I had Jack pick up anyone else that would of been back in the 21st century still." Ianto was happy to make sure nothing was forgotten for the nervous bride-to-be. "Who knows. Maybe we'll have something dramatic happen. That's a Torchwood tradition when it comes to weddings. Okay, so the last two were without incident."
His eyebrow arches upwards when she tells him she feels like she's going to puke. "Just take some deep breaths. You're nervous."

"Got flowers. Got dress, got someone to give me away..." She checks thinks off in her head before Ianto goes and tempts fate. "YOU'RE NOT HELPING!" Liz shouts before the door swings open and Patrick only adds fuel to the proverbial fire.
"What?!" Liz glances at the clock. They have time, lots of... Oh, crap. Seems she spent a lot longer pacing than she realized. The added stress of knowing now that everyone's waiting on her makes her finally lose everything she ate today.
...right on poor Ianto's shoes.
"Fuck." Yeah, she just said that in a church. "Shit!" Yeah, that too.

He runs the list through his head. He's very sure it's the proper Jack, he was sure Alisa and Jack's was fine. Of course the two went off for an apparent year in the TARDIS or what seemed to be a year to the couple. "I'm sure things will be just fine. If we don't think about it and then we're going to ensure a happy wedding."
He looks over his shoulder at Patrick and he scowls a little bit. "Then tell them to hold themselves. The priest was paid well in money and liquor."
The clock gets Ianto's attention and then there's the sound, the warmth and then the smell on a pair of very expensive Italian leather loafers that he was wearing on his feet. He looks down at the shoes with a shocked look on his face. "Bloody.."
"You're not coming down with something are you?" Ianto asks Liz, he's wondering if its more than just the wedding jitters. "Or it's just butterflies.."

"Sit down sweetheart," he says, "you need to drink this and rinse your mouth out. I told everyone you weren't quite ready yet and we'll be out when you are."
He frowns. "When did you last eat something Liz," he asks gently, "today was not the day to skip a meal."

"Of course I ate, how could I puke on your boyfriend's feet if I didn't eat?" Liz flops herself down on the floor, dress and all, and takes a few cautious sips of water as she ponders Ianto's question. "Sick..." She wonders before shaking her head. "That...mission. Fucking Doctor." Liz grumbles under her breath. She lets out a pathetic sound that's so close to a sob, but she's actually wearing makeup and she doesn't want to ruin it. "Uh...maybe I caught something. I donno. Hell I might have some sickness that we're not immune to because it vanished in our time."
Liz looks up from her place on the floor at Ianto and Patrick. "I can't kiss Owen if I'm a walking death factory!" She says in a panic before burying her head in her knees. "That is not how I want to spend my honeymoon!" Liz whimpers then looks up again. "Is there some way we can tell if I'm...really, really sick?"

He reaches for his handkerchief and he hands it over to Liz. "Here. I'll go see if I can find you some water." Ianto looks over at Patrick and he ums. "Right, a glass of water and tell the people in the church we're going to be a bit late." He looks at Liz and he thinks. "The TARDIS tends to protect us from getting sick from things like the plague and space flu."
"I'll go into Jack's TARDIS. I'm sure there's something in there that we can use."

She eyes Patrick when he's not at all scared of being near her. "What if I puke on you?" She counters his assurances it's just nerves. "I'm not supposed to be nervous. This is the happiest day of my life. I'm supposed to be happy."

He looks to Patrick for a moment and he goes to head inside. "I'll be right back with the scanner and a new pair of trousers."
Ianto returns with the scanner in question and a hanger with new pants and shoes. "Here. I'll let you." He hands it over to Patrick to check and see if there's something wrong with Liz. "Weddings are one of those most nervous days of any woman's life. Its normal."
no subject
"Uh Liz," he says carefully, "do you want the good news first or the semi good news?"
no subject
Liz crack open one eye cautiously. "Am I dying?" She wonders before Patrick speaks of two kinds of news. "I'm dying...but I get to get married first, is that it?"
no subject
He waits for Patrick to run the scan over Liz and he coughs. "You're dying. You'll get married but then its time for us to buy a plot in the cemetery for you."

"I'm having another BABY!?!" And now Liz is back sitting on the floor again. "Owen and I haven't figured out how to keep the first one from being screwed up yet and I'm... having... another... baby."
Liz really has no idea how to feel about this at all.

"We can scan you again if you would like." Ianto suggests as he continues to look at the scanner. "This thing maybe giving off a false reading."

She glances between Patrick and Ianto. "Do it quick. People are waiting and I don't want anyone to talk."
