Another Jack! This time with curves!
Jacklyn wiggled and shifted next to her fiancee, trying desperately not to wake with her usual insomnia. She had much on her mind since the 456. Including many thought about her now blond daughter. Could she of turned away the 456 using herself as the amp? Could she of done it would forcing Meredith to regenerate and set her on the path her mother was, sacrificing her life for people?
She sighed and slowly sat up, carefully untangling herself from Ianto's hold to get dressed. Once she was properly clothed she stepped out into the main area and crossed to Meredith's room to check on her before heading out. She wandered the city for a time before going to check on the clean up of the Hub.
Jacklyn stared down into the crater sadly. It had been her home literally for hundreds of years. Now all that remained was charred debris and broken momentos.
The Captain knelt down to pick up something when she heard a sound behind her and cried out when a light blinded her. She blinked rapidly even as it faded. What the hell had just happen?
She groaned as her vision cleared. "Wonderful...Just bloody wonderful."

It was a cool winter's day outside and it was pleasant by most standards to leave Alisa to dress lightly. So there she sat in one Black Range Rover near the location of the who or what got spat out. She eventually slid herself out of the door and she began to creep towards the source. She slid her hand into her coat to pull out her glock and she held it out in front of her.
"Hello!" Sure lets call out to what's out there. If its a person like the girl that Ianto then she'd like to avoid shooting them.

"Come out, nobody's going to hurt you. We're just here to help." Alisa knew that's always was Jack's motto to help those who came through the Rift. "Now if you're here to cause trouble then its an entirely different story."

She's tense and she uhs. "The only way you'll end up in a cage is if you do something stupid. So please do me a favor, please kick the gun somewhere."

"I know how you got here. So that part we can skip."

Now this is very awkward but she relaxes once she's assured of there being nothing there in terms of weapons. "Sorry, for being a little intrusive."
no subject
She shrugs slightly. "You were doing your job. Why would I be angry for that?"
no subject
"Its just I would hate to have a gun shoved in my face if ended up somewhere else." Alisa goes to send a text back to the HUB and for now she's going to motion Jacklyn over towards the SUV that she left. "Okay, I should ask who your parents are right? Married?"
no subject
She starts to follow the other woman, her gait easy and confident. "I only ask cause I thought you might of been mine somehow up the line." Jacklyn looks over at her. "Oh I didn't like it but again. Its your job. It was the correct response."
no subject
Alisa looks at the two of them and she uhs. "No. I would of doubted that pretty quick." She takes a breath and she goes to help the other woman to the SUV. "I'm sure my boss will be happy to meet you then. Well at least your response wasn't to shoot me."
no subject
Jacklyn snorts. "Just cause of the appearance differs don't always mean much. Trust me. I've seen some odd couples and their unexpected results for children." Both cute and not so cute. "I've learned to ask questions first then shoot if the situation allows...and who's your boss?"

She's still watching the other Jack and she starts the engine and she pulls out from where she discovered the other. "Unless you know how to find the HUB, you're not driving. My version of you has a total disregard for rules when it comes to driving."
no subject
"I know I know." She huffs. "That's why I'm not arguing." Jacklyn smirks. "And we all do. I give Ianto heart attacks on a daily basis."
no subject
Then there's mention of Ianto. "Is Ianto still a guy or is he a chick too?" She's becoming protective of the Welshman lately. "Poor Ianto we try to keep his heart in one piece these days."
no subject
"Male." Jacklyn smiles. "Very male under his neatly pressed suit." She sighs. "He's going to panic when he wakes up and finds me gone..." The easy smile fades into a pained look before she glances over to her. "What do you mean?"
no subject
"In regards to Ianto, he's happy and that's a good thing for him."
no subject
Jacklyn nods. "Good. Ianto deserves to be happy." She was idly toying with a rose gold ring that hung on a necklace, her gaze turning a bit distant for a moment.

It doesn't help that this is Alisa's native universe. "Gwen's wedding. That was my first event with the team. I was brought in as an extra doctor by Martha to help with a case concerning The Pharm." She knows she's the unique member, the one that doesn't exist outside of this Torchwood so explaining herself is normal. She continues the drive towards the Santa Monica Mountains. "Gwen had the baby here."
She looks at the glint of the ring and she asks. "Did you lose your Ianto?" She asks, she tries hard not to be intrusive.
no subject
The woman smiled faintly if a little strained. "Owen will be fine. Doctor's there and the rest of my team."
She listens, looking over at Alisa. "She did?" Jacklyn considered the information. "Sounds like I'm a bit from the past as well as moving across dimension...interesting. I should start writing this stuff down." Ianto and Tosh would love to have the information."
She blinks at the question before looking down at the ring. "No...He's still alive if that's what you mean. But he's not here so I suppose in a way I did." That strained smile returned. "Its for the best. Meredith needs someone to watch over her."
no subject
"Good to see your Doctor sticks around." Alisa cracks a smile and she pulls up into the drive way.
"Yes. yes she did Anwen's her name. God she's adorable." She looks at the big mega-palace or mansion that's part of the main HUB. "Yes, you could say that much. My own world is an alternate but there's no harm in that."
She pulls the SUV up to the front of the drive way. "That's good news. I like our Ianto. It wasn't easy at first for us with the marriage but we've rebuilt our trust."
no subject
Jacklyn reached out and gently patted her shoulder. "Its rough." She murmured softly, sympathetically.
The woman snorted softly. "He sticks around when he deems fit. Otherwise he takes off at the drop of a pin." She complains good naturedly before looking up at the mansion like building. "I can't wait to see her then....wow. That's big."
She looked back at the woman before looking away. Jacklyn had seen how smitten Ianto had been with her and in her world had worked through Jacklyn's defenses when she got back to the Valiant carrying her baby and hiding behind flirts and smiles.Would she stay with Ianto if she found someone like her? Immortal? Or would she stay with Ianto till the end of his life?...or would she do something stupid to keep him around longer?
The third seemed more correct.
"That's good. Ianto is a good man to know."

She laughs a bit about The Doctor. "Ours likes to pop in like an annoying neighbor. I do love the guy to death so it's okay when he does show up." She looks at the HUB and she smiles brightly. "No more sulking around underground was Jack's idea. The world knew about Torchwood's existence since the 456 and the Dalek's theft of the Earth."
Alisa opens the doors and she steps out into the warmth of the sun. "He's a great guy. I can always trust him. I'm happy he also found someone in the end. They're an amazingly cute couple."
no subject
Jacklyn nods. "Same with our Doctor. He's been a help in raising my daughter. If fact...with out him I don't even know if she'd be alive. He's helped me to teach her about her other heritage. He's like a crazy uncle now."
She chuckles and nods. "I did about the same." She murmurs. "But nothing like this...This is. Wow." Jacklyn shakes her head, sliding out of the car.
"That's good he found someone." Her voice is a touch distant, thoughtful.
