The Doctor has invited a lot of people to his corner of the HUB that's far away from the main building and this party is for all who are interested in attending. He has spent a lot of decorating and it looks great with lots of skeletons, bats, spider webs, pumpkins and other spooky things.

He's all set for his party and he's feeling a bit giddy about this party. He hasn't thrown a party in sometime if ever so this is a nice break from the norm.

The Doctor did not forget the miniature candy bars and the toffee apples. The Doctor himself is standing there in a toga, olive leafs and he looks like either Julius Cesar or he could be a Roman Senator. He even managed to decorate the TARDIS with a couple paper bats and a witches cap.

(OOC: Welcome to the first open thread party for Fractured!Verse and other friends we may have met on SWS who are not actually part of the main verse. If all goes well maybe there will be more things like this in the future. As always, thread jack away, have fun and the thread will continue until there's no further interest.

Just a heads up some of the punch bowls maybe spiked. One orange bowl sparkling punch will have the drinker possessed by their costumes. This will last for as long as the user wants. They will retain their personalities, powers and for those who wind up animals the ability to talk. You also will end up with the powers of your costumes or downside if you're a vampire. :))

[The Doctor darts out from the TARDIS with a big bowl of British chocolates and he plops them on the table with the others. He looks over his shoulder to see Fran and no there's no beard on his face.

He walks over towards her with that big cheery smile on his face. There's always a good reason that people bring sweets.]

Happy Halloween Fran! Oh, I like the dress and your brolly.

Thought you'd appreciate it. Oh, come here and give me a hug. You look great. And that's a different hat for you.

A hug? Ah, yes I get to give you one big hug don't I? [The Doctor goes to throw his arms around Fran.] I'm not very fond of this hat and a fez simply didn't do the costume any justice.

Thank you for having me here, Doctor. How's everything going?

Everything's just great. I think you're early or people just got lost.

I'm always early. I'll probably even be early to my grave.

[There's actual humor in the comment--she's not that afraid of death.]

Lets not talk about anything early for the grave. Okay, well that's something fitting for the season.

[He laughs at the bad attempt at humor.]

Ghosties, ghoulies, skeletons...Halloween's the best time to be a little grim. Or optomistic about grim things. I've got hope and I've got faith.

I had an issue with ghosts in Cardiff in the 1900's. I got to meet with Charles Dickens. Oh, he was a lovely man.

[There's a great big smile coming from The Doctor and he holds a finger up in the air.]

Those two are very important things to have, faith and hope.

I can only imagine how Dickens was in person...I've never actually slogged anything of his except A Christmas Carol.

He was brilliant. I'm very good friends with Shakespeare and I gave him a few of his ideas. I never got credit for helping him with Hamlet.

Really? I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Any of the Greek playwrights, too?

I was at Troy so very long ago. I met Achilles and Odysseus. They made claims that I was Zeus himself. [He reaches up to tug at his hair.] I could of see how that mistake was made.

I see you more as Mercury.

Mercury eh? I think you're right. I can see him in me too. Well I'm not sure I would ever want to end up as a god.

And I'm certainly no goddess--at least in the conventional sense.

You're a special person. I would rather be a special person than oh a god.

I don't get where you guys decide I'm 'special'.

There's just something about you that everyone just sees. You're resilience is one of them.

And, you remind me of the people I travel with. I should and will offer you a trip in the TARDIS. I want you to think of somewhere amazing that you want to visit.

[She thinks for a moment, then the lightbulb goes on.]

Would you like to crash a wedding with me?

Yes, somewhere amazing.

[He hears her mention a wedding and he wasn't so daft after all.]

Who's wedding? And, of course I can crash any party or wedding. The TARDIS is an expert at crashing everything.

My boss at my first job and his wife. They were like parents to me, moreso than my father ever was. And...she died last year. I want to see them on the happiest day of their lives, since I know I've seen them on the worst.

[Something so simple, to want to see her parental figures at their best.]

Mmm. I think we can make arrangements for us to see your boss's wedding. I don't think it would be that hard for us to keep to the shadows.

I'm an insomniac and finally watching Doctor Who for myself. >.>

Yay! :) I still need to finish my Seventh Doctor eps. I did a classic rewatch this summer.

I'm starting with Ninth--up to 1x10. And giggling the whole while.
