Who: Rory Pond rory_the_roman and Amy Pond pantlesspond/OTA
Where: New York City, Central Park

What: Rory was crashed out on the couch, was, is the understatement here as he sits there with a remote control on his hand. He looks at the remote and the missing television that would of been on their wall. "I'm not exactly sure if it was him or if it was the remote." He smacks the remote with the palm of his hand and the fact they're in New York City isn't sitting well right now.

"Yup, it was him. I'm very sure it was." Rory gets himself off the couch and he glances at his sweat socks that are starting to soak in water from the wet soil. He takes a look around the city and he digs into his wallet. He doesn't have enough money to convert to US dollars so he can find them a cab. "We should ask for directions to the British Embassy and work on a flight home before it gets dark."

"Yes, but this is New York City, you know just as well at how big this place can be. That and we have no money, cabs aren't free you know." Rory looks at tables with shoes on them and he's going to have to be quick to just find his size and run off with them.

He hates this, he's lost and he has no idea where The Doctor is just so he can punch him in the face.

Amy waves a hand at him her mind partly on the adventure ahead. "We'll work something out," she says going up on her tiptoes to kiss him. "We always do."

"Of course we do, now we need to find him and work on getting home." Rory tells Amy and he wanders over towards one of the vendors with a pair of sneakers on the table. "You don't happen to have those in my size?" The display pair are his size, he just needs a distraction.

"A size 14." Rory figures no need to make it easy on him and when the back of the man is turned he grabs hold of the sneakers. Rory tugs on Amy's arm and he begins to run with her.

The man calls out once he sees the sneakers on the stand are gone. "Hey! Come back! Thief!"

Amy keeps pace with Rory easily her eyes sparkling. "I never thought I'd see the day when Rory Williams would steal something," she says, "it makes you seem rather sexy to be honest."

The Doctor comes along only to be ran into by Rory, he can feel the rightness of this pair. "Rory the Roman! Amy!" The Doctor calls out to the two and he goes to throw his arms around his companion. "How did you? No. I'm not going to ask."

"I thought, that I left you off to start making babies." The Doctor expects a smack for this but it's nice to see the pair after the mess he's been in. The shop keep is going to go after the shoe. "Now, now let's go before Bluto gets upset over a missing sneaker."

This wasn't the time for this when he's running and only to run into The Doctor. "I think you have some explaining to do but right." He looks at Amy and he holds up a dirty sock. "Have you tried doing this before?"

Right, running, more running with just the sneakers in hand. "Come on Amy."

Amy hugs the Doctor happily. "Don't mind Rory," she says brightly, "he's just cranky because our couch wound up in Central Park with us on it."
