The little mouse dashed between heels, dress shoes, sneakers and the occasional sandal trying to find a place to hide. "Why did I go to the zoo, why, why why," he squeaked. Since he had become this, he had almost been eaten by a real owl and what he thought was a coyote but he had run away too fast to see for sure.  While he was better able to move among the crowds when he was this size, Jack also had to worry about the life inside him. "If my baby ends up with fur...I am going to kill my other self," he muttered making a dive for a pile of trash poking out of an alley way.

[Which happened to be the place where BBDoc was hiding. He thought he was little before! Now, he felt simply tiny!]

Jack is panting, who knew mice could pant, seriously. "Please just let me hide here for a second," he begs, "there are just too many feet out there to dodge."

[BBDoc recognized that voice and he peeked out from behind the piece of newspaper he was hiding behind. He spoke hesitantly.]

J-Jack?

"Yes," Jack says carefully trying his best to gauge who he might be talking to. "Were you once human too?"

Nooo... I was Time Word.

[He looks a bit offended. Well, as offended as such a cute little face can look]

"Doctor," Jack squeaks shocked, "but your voice doesn't sound right...."

[Oh this is so much more shaming when people can't look at him and KNOW which one he is.]

The mouse Jack tilts it's head. "Oh you are the little one that my first Doctor or a version of him is looking for."

[BBDoc nods.]

Nanny Nine... he's always wookin' foe me. I ain't dat hard ta find!

The Master ran through the streets of New York. He'd tired of the Doctor and his friends. He knew his old friend would get the transformations reversed and, frankly, the Master had become a bit bored. He'd fulfilled his purpose for going to the zoo. The Doctor knew, now, that the Master was on the loose. Their games could begin!

The mouse poked his head out of the trash when he heard people screaming. The sight of a big cat a little bit weirder then most New Yorkers were used to.

"Hey," he squeaked, "did you used to be human?"

The Master came to a halt and spotted the little mouse. He approached slowly, until he felt he was at a suitable distance for polite conversation.

"I certainly was not," he claimed, proudly. "Were you?"

"Yes sort of," Jack says unsure how close he should be getting to the cat, he does not want to be lunch. "I'm a fixed point or I was."

The Master couldn't help growling on hearing that. It explained why his hackles were rising, for no reason.

"That shouldn't be possible. You started completely human?"

"It's a long story that I don't think we should be having right here maybe," Jack says, "I think you are scaring people."

The Master chuffed with laughter.

"A cheetah loose on the streets of New York city? I should hope I am!"

Obviously, this idea caused him nothing, but glee.

"Remind me not to upset you once we are human and whatever again," Jack snorts which ends up sounding like a softer squeak.

This Doctor managed to escape the crowds of the zoo and with people well on it he's going to explore the city or even better look for his TARDIS. A mouse scoots out in front of him and he's about to give chase simply because it's what fox does.

"Sorry, really I'm sorry little mouse. I need to eat and I'm not sure a fox enjoys fishy custard."

"Dear gods don't eat me," Jack squeaks making a dash under the fox's feet, "I used to be human and I do not want to be food dammit."

The Doctor really wants to be rid of this body and he hates it. The Time Lord knows that voice and he looks under his feet. "I'm not going to eat a talking mouse. I would like to avoid eating a mouse period."

He turns around and he sits on his haunches despite people gawking at the fox in the streets. "Still I'm not exactly planning on sticking around and you little Mouse shouldn't do the same, especially if you were a human and sound like Captain Jack."

"I am Captain Jack," Jack says realizing only one person would talk to him like that. "Doctor is that you," he says almost grinning, "you look handsome with all that fur."

"Jack! Jack the..." The Doctor will think on that one for a bit and he had returned after dropping Rory and Amy back in Leadsworth to continue with their lives. He huffs at that.

"Really, Captain..Jack the Captain? No it's not exactly the same now is it. Still. Yes. I'm a handsome devil and a very sly fox." The Doctor looks up to see Animal Control coming. "I think we should be running now." The Doctor gently goes to scoop the mouse up into his jaws. "There's no need for us to end up in a cage or worse.."

"Just don't bite down would you," Jack squeaks as he tries to keep out of the way of the fox's teeth. "I have someone depending on me and I am not about to die as someone's meal."

"I don't plan on it." The Doctor has no interest in eating the Captain but he's not about to end up with a dart in his ass either. He makes a run for an ally between a couple of buildings to head back for the park.

The trick is getting to the park and the fact there's another van means he's going to have to travel further away. "I'm going to have to ask right?"

"Ask what," squeaks the mouse, "how I wound up in the zoo and what happened I have no bloody idea to be honest."
