Nathan had gotten used to a lot of strange things traveling with the Doctor, but starting out in New York and winding up in California without the TARDIS took the cake. He walked down the street, people giving him odd stares as he went by. He figured his outfit, a leather multi pocketed bomber jacket, jeans, a white t-shirt and black sneakers was the problem, then he remembered where he was and started worrying about someone recognizing him.
He stopped in front of a newsstand and stared at the date on top of the paper. "2011," he said out loud without really thinking, "oh this is not good....no way."
