Jack is ready to run, he TARDIS is packed and he's ready to set off for who knows where. He's got all who intend to come with him inside of the TARDIS. He's going to see what a blue box full of fixed points in time along with their Meta-Crisis can do. Jack knows there's a chance that running will be completely futile.
OOC: Posts for the inside of the TARDIS take place here. There's a little thread on SWS that can be threaded with also, but that's likely before their departure. It's like the party thread, it's a TARDIS so there's all sorts of places for your muses to be. If Jack picked you up or you needed a ride, feel free to handwave asking Jack, he's cool like that.
Also, for those currently inside the TARDIS during the trial, there's no lights or much power inside of the TARDIS. It can't move until Jack is finally released so play with this in mind. It might be a tad bit nippy inside too so make yourselves some ponchos!

Have you go everything you need? Are you sure she's ready to put up the fight? TARDIS are trained to respond to the call of the Time Lords...

He walks over towards Romana and he goes to give her a hug itchiness be damned. "I have everything. I can take her to a few supply stations in the 65th and 51st centuries when we run out." He looks back at the little infant TARDIS and he sighs. "She's young too.."

That's why I'm worried about you, Jack. They mean business. I don't know what this is about, but it is best that I am in my own time-stream when it happens.

"I'm in the eyes of your people wrong." It's not so bad to want to kill yourself when you have no one but that's far from the truth anymore. "You're leaving us then.." He looks out towards his own Doctor's TARDIS. "He's going to confront them."

[Her voice catches.]
It's not like that. I can't return there. If I did....
[She knows what her future holds. The Doctor has taught her how to use her abilities for good.]
It's not my time to return to Gallifrey yet...

On top of all that, something is wrong. He can feel it. He sees it in the Captain's eyes when he looks at him. The man is scared of something. He saw that look as all the pilots would climb up into their planes, preparing for take off. It was never a good look to have, not when you're the leader. You're supposed to appear cool and hide your fears.
Wandering around the TARDIS console, he looks at some of the other people that are there as well. He doesn't know any of them, not yet. He hasn't seen Miss Toshiko in all of this. He's not sure what to do, other than just sit and wait.
[ ooc: don't have to answer, just wanted to put Jack somewhere. ]

"Jack!" Toshiko shouts out and she runs over to him. The Rift is full of surprises and this is just one of those she never expected to see again." She's going to throw her arms around him and she figures all of this must be confusing to the man out of his place and time.
She squeezes him tightly and she almost drops the scanner to the floor. "It's been, oh never mind how long it has been!"
no subject
His smile fades a little and he gives Tosh a look. "Jack, not James. I... I know that. I'm just having trouble to remembering that. I keep forgetting." He sighed, looking down at the scanner in her hand. He's never seen anything like it.
He pauses, looking at Toshiko with a bit of confusion. "It's only been one day for me." And that is really the truth of the situation, isn't it? He's so confused with everything going on, he wonders if he's losing his mind. "This is what you felt like, isn't it? Being out of time."
no subject
"I don't think we can confuse you for Jack. It will take some getting used to." Toshiko looks at the scanner when he does and she goes to place it on one of the railings.
The one day thing will get even more confusing inside of the TARDIS. "Years." Toshiko simply says, it's been that long since she last step through with Jack. "It was yes. I'm starting to see that feeling a lot more but it was better." She lifts her head up to glance up at the ceiling of the TARDIS. "I traveled with a very close friend of Jack's in a machine like this one."
no subject
"I think I might take a new name." A part of him didn't want to. It was his name first. It was all he had left. And yet, everyone knew the other Jack Harkness. It might be confusing to have two of them.
"This machine is beautiful. I can't even begin to imagine flying in this." He reached out and gently touched the console. "She's nothing like my old spitfire. It's so... amazing." He smiled down at her. "And so are you."

During/Post Trial; Cranky!Pants Liz
She waits, and waits, and waits some more, her back pressed to a wall with her knees pulled up to her chest. An occasional ball of sad, worried blue fire pops out in front of Liz, floating and slowly twitching around before she decided her emotions and her fire are not a good combination.
She'd give damn near anything to know what's happening in there. Give up smoking, drinking, swear off guns forever, just to know her friends are going to be OK. Or even to know they're not. At least then she'd have some idea what to do. Burn, scorch, kick the shit out of someone.
But for now, she sits; helpless, hopeless and hating that she can't do a damn thing defend anyone.
Re: During/Post Trial; Cranky!Pants Liz
He digs out his flashlight and he shines it around, but the ball of blue fire catches his attention. "Hey!" Owen calls out to her and he looks back towards Lurch who lingers around at that safe forty foot mark, he for once actually felt bad for the rainbow clad Doctor who sent him to Los Angeles over Budapest. He shakes his head, it's been a long day and he plops himself down next to Liz.
"They still are holding Jack and a few others." Owen sighs, he watches Alisa who's bundled up in Jack's greatcoat eventually take a seat. "Somehow, just somehow they let us go on some technicality."
no subject
She clings, actually clings to Owen, not fully believing he's actually there because part of her was truly afraid she'd never see him again, see any of them again. "Jack didn't do anything. None of you did anything wrong!" She pulls back slightly and shakes her head angrily. "What technicality, what happened?"
no subject
He tells her that they were being accused for the damage done to the universe and lives lost due the destruction of six others. "I found out from Jack, this universe never had a Doctor. No offense to him but I'm really starting to hate Time Lords more and more."
He looks over at the rainbow metacrisis and he frowns a little bit at what he saw happen to one. "I think they wanna kill these guys. It isn't gonna happen, sure Lurch here has been a pain in the arse but he's MY pain in the arse."

During Trial
The lights didn't last long like the two metacrisis said and with just a flashlight Alisa dug out from the pocket of Jack's greatcoat the two continue to sit and wait for both their lovers and the binding glue of this team to return. "We both have faith. It seems funny we're using that word faith." Ianto talks to those gathered in the room and he hasn't seen the Jack who was appointed second man. He figures he maybe got lost in the abyss of the TARDIS interior.
Re: During Trial
"All right, I have inquiries: What the bloody hell is going on?!" he asked, leaning against the wall to make sure he wouldn't fall. "And what's with the blowhard? From what I'm hearing from the supes in my world, the trial's a joke." He then turns to Mrs. Harkness, "Evening, ma'am." He then saw a certain crippled doctor making his way out of some miasma from Silent Jersey along with a maneating demon who's been stuck in his Santa Barbara for too long.
"Wow, here I thought my world's gone to shit," House spat, crossing his bloodied arms and making eye contact with Shawn. "Dude, I second the whole supes getting inkly over this. Hell's watching," Spencer growled.
Re: During Trial
It's a blue box, but not the blue box Logan was expecting to see with the desktop theme for what's visible resembles Jack's old office in Cardiff. Alisa looks up, she's seated there in Jack's coat on the jump seat. "It is a joke. A total joke but we're dealing with individuals who have the power and ability to really fix things."
"Missed you in Malibu," Ianto comments to Shawn about their brief time in California. He looks at House and he wonders how to explain things. "We were able to get ourselves off with some technicalities. The others they weren't exactly lucky."
Re: During Trial
"Technicalities my ass," House snorted, "IF they really had the power to 'fix' things, they'd done it by now unless they have something else in mind. Call me suspicious." The doctor knew that whoever set up the trial may not have all the cards but was most definitely manipulating the situation to their advantage.
"Agreed; the mystery patrons are playing with lives over flimsy details and at best dubious evidence," Logan concluded, lawyer-mode ON. "What are the charges?"

"Sorry about that." The immortal apologizes as he moves over to the others at the jump seat. "Some one decided now would be a good time to try playing with me. Or protect me. Either way." He says slightly annoyed as he looks up at the ceiling.

This was no pardon. They're simply being held prisoners together while the others simply awaited their inquiry. Alisa's got the flashlight in on hand and Ianto's hand in another, the voice got her to perk her head up and she's almost about to launch herself from the jump seat but she settles down when she notices this Jack isn't her husband. She's been sitting their for a few hours now in her Jack's greatcoat that he placed on her while they sat and waited for the trail for all of them.
"She's not playing games," Alisa's going to explain and it's a sad thing to think about, but Ianto's right they need to pick themselves up to be strong for Jack while he undergoes the inquiry. "She's bot a chronon loop and time lock keeping her in place." It's cold despite being swallowed up by Jack's giant coat.
Ianto's head perks up, he had it leaning up against the back of the jump seat. The two of them grasping at the dark for hope for Jack, Ianto knows the other was in there to help provide some support. "Jack..." He lifts his head up with a grin on his face, it's not a large happy grin but a sad one. "We're prisoners here. Instead of being held captive in the chambers we're now here in the cold..." His brow furrows a bit and he thinks to the Administrator.
"We still were tricked. We left our chances to fight to sit in the dark." Ianto feels stupid and he stands up to his feet. "I was tricked because we all thought it best for us to leave. It gave us an escape."

The captain offers a small smile back. "I'm sure you did what you thought was best." He moves over to stand next to Ianto. "You've got all these people here we're responsible for. Leaving was probably the best thing."

He can't put totally into words why he's feeling so uneasy about all of this, but he's making a effort just the same.
Pre Trail
He leans back against the doors and he motions for his double to follow him. "The Doctor pointed out summonings from The Council is never good so I'm going to just run."
He looks at the console room that's loaded with supplies that Ianto will be moving under the console just in case they're needed. "You're going to come with me right?" He's got the other ancient Jack to look over things for him in New York while they're gone.
Re: Pre Trail
"Of course I'm coming," he says with a smile, "couldn't leave you on your own now could I? Think of all the trouble we could get into together."
Re: Pre Trail
"The Doctor's going on his own. I expected that much and he's going to respond to the summon," Jack goes to add a few destinations for them to go. I don't want to leave the twins behind but..." He frowns when he sets the dial for sometime in the future. "...it's too risky for them."
Jack's very nervous he knows they likely can only run for so long. He's got his team here with him and he casts his double a smile. "Oh, the trouble we'll have looking for places to hide."
