Orphanage visit

Bruce wandered up East 60th street, trying to imagine Loki living there. His imagination wasn't that good. The street was ordinary, bustling with people in the late afternoon sunshine and very human. Bruce smiled, shaking his head. The god of mischief running an orphanage...he almost didn't believe it, except he did. Finally, he found himself standing in front of the orphanage, a bit surprised. It seemed kinda large and...well, not like he expected a city orphanage to look.

Bruce didn't bother knocking, but went inside, finding the children playing everywhere. They looked happy, he was relieved to see.

Winter Nights celebration and Halloween- OTA

Loki was practically bouncing with excitement as he helped set up for the Winter Nights feast. Thor and the Allmother had opened Asgardia to the mortals for the celebrations and had even allowed for Loki to add more Midgardian flairs to the set up. He glanced over to where Thor and Thora were setting up the main area where the blessings and feast were to be held and grinned at the sight of two very blond head together as they discussed something or another.

He on the other hand was working on an area for games and sweets and other trivial things for the kids to enjoy. Oh this would be so much fun.

He knew that some the traditional ceremony would be held for the Asgardians only but soon after it would be a full out party something it seemed that the Midgardians needed after this year and no one knew how to party better then the Norse Gods of old. After all the sharing of the Horn and Feast would kick that off rather nicely.

((ooc: Okay those of you who play asgardians let me know if you want to do the traditional blessings and such. I'll set it up. If not...go for it. Party hardy!))

The Musician looked around the place. It had taken him a while but he had managed not only to find where his family estates were but get transportation there. So he invited Sleipnir and his sister to join him in exploring the lands. And if he gathered some food together for a picnic for later, well... surely they would get hungry at some time. He smiled. "Welcome to the Oakdown Estates."

There was no question in Steve's mind that he was going to follow his wife to where ever she had gone. The question of how plagued him for a while, but thanks to the cooperation between what was left of the Avengers and Torchwood, a way had been found. It was extremely advanced technology, so he was told, the kind of sort that made him nervous and uneasy and pretty damn sure he was going to do something wrong and break it. He was not an unintelligent man, it was just... there was so much he had missed in those 70 years that it was hard to catch up to current technology let alone the stuff that blew that out of the water. But this device was his only chance to see his wife again, possibly get her to come back with him. He hoped that while he was gone things stayed as quiet and contained as they have been recently because team Avengers was getting a bit on the small side.

He looked over to his friends and gave a nod and a quick salute. Then he activated the device. At first he was sure it wasn't going to work. And then he got... pulled. He closed his eyes and held on, hoping this would work. Then he felt himself falling, he took a sharp breath, then hit sand and water as he fell into the shallows of low tide. The machine in his hands sparked and made very unhappy noises before completely shutting down. He sighed as he gingerly got out of the water, trying to make sure not to get the thing wet even if he was pretty sure it was busted. "I certainly hope this is the right place."

Jack has had enough of the confines and stares from the Time Lords, with Alisa getting ready to take the trip into the Matrix; he needed time to clear his head. He was worried for her, and not that she couldn't handle herself but out of normal concern. Then there was the troubling feeling, about what was going to happen on Earth. The invasion fleet had him worried, and Jack couldn't just stand there and watch that fleet coast through the darkness of space towards his home world.

He took time to escape towards a red field of grass that finally regrew from the final days of the Time War on this planet. Jack sprawled his coat out under him, and with both David and Jonathan there with him to enjoy the alien playground. Gallifrey was indeed the gem of the universe, the silvery leaves of the trees that surrounded the lake of Wild Endeavors, the laughter of his sons as they rolled around in the grass without a care in the world. Things here were safe, but Jack could not take his mind off of Earth.

To try to calm his nerves, Jack brought his journal with him. The old journal had many written entries, and some sketches of people, places, and things that Jack has seen in his recent travels. This one held the events of the birth of his two daughters, the Miracle, life in California, Alisa, those who came and went due to the Rift, and the little side trips The Doctor took him on. Jack took the pen in his hand, and he began to sketch out the fabled dome of the Time Lord Capitol.

SWS: Jack is sketching something in his journal.

Who: Toni Stark, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers

Toni had been sluggish all day, her chest paining her...it should of been a warning to her. A red flag to check her arc reactor but she'd been distracted by working on a new armor design. Her attempt the stream line the armor and to make it distinguished from her male counterparts armors. Finding herself slowly down she pushes from the drawing board and starts to walk out towards the coffee machine when a sharp whine escaped the reactor. Moments after the reactor shuts down pain sets in which let her know that the power had been dying slowly and with it the field that kept the shrapnel in place. She sways and turns for Tony's desk but something in her could tell she wouldn't make it.

She crashes against something as she collapse, hitting the ground heavily.

Bruce made his way back to Stark Tower, after his latest Hulk incident. He was tired and worried that Ross had dared to come after him. Maybe he'd been foolish and overly optimistic, but Bruce had truly believed that the backing of both Tony Stark and SHIELD would protect him. It seemed he had been wrong. He sighed and made his way to his lab.

"JARVIS? Do we have any company here at the moment?"

The Doctor finished talking with people, and he lead The Master to one very familiar room with a look on his face. "I do hope you're not going to get any ideas!" He taunted, but of course this is not the time nor the place to do this. "We should be quick, I don't like leaving Earth alone to deal with that situation anymore than anyone else."

He hates this, he really does but if Gallifrey falls it could mean some horrible weapons could end up in the wrong hands. "There's only one other person that knows this old system better than us, and that would be Rassilon himself. And, from what I've learned some fools had let him free during a war with the Daleks."

The Doctor goes to step into the room that has a number of beds, along with some very old familiar faces. "They're not exactly happy to see you either."
