Today's Music is Not Inspiring

When: After monster attack.
Where: The New York HUB - Jack's Office

What:

The two have cleaned themselves up with a shower, a fresh set of clothes and while Jack's mangled leg is propped up on the top of his desk with a towel resting on top of it for the world not to see, Alisa's flipping through his radio by use of her Vortex Manipulator. She's stops on one song. "I think we're reaching a new artistic low in this century."

It's loud enough that it could be heard in the other parts of the HUB but she makes no effort to switch channels either. "I think we've got people worse than you Jack. At least the classics had a little more tact."

This is one of those rare moments one can catch Jack in just an undershirt and a pair of shorts. He's got his bare feet propped up on his desk top and a cup of coffee in his hand.

There's paperwork to be done and he leaves Alisa to help him out there, let's not forget phone calls to make to local political figures. Jack has taken the phone off the hook for the time being and a small smile creeps up his face. "Nobody can best me when it comes to not having tact." He teases and he goes to switches stations. His radio is unique and it just might be able to catch broadcasts from all over time and space.

"I'm going to have to explain Liz's explosion to council later. I hate dealing with explaining things to these people." He grumbles and for now a bit of 'down time' is on his mind.
